Getting to/from the airport

​

The number 300 bus is the airport bus that travels from the airport directly past Badjao B&B - Just ask the driver to drop you off at "Hutchison Grove". When departing the bus, walk past the church (staying on the main street) and we are the last door in the terrace (an image of the front of the property is on our home page). The bus runs regularly but takes approximately 30 minutes to get to the property.

There are taxi's available from Edinburgh airport if you prefer.  The journey time is 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transport



We are a 15 minutes bus ride away from Princes Street, in the quiet residential area of Slateford. There are four local Lothian Buses that go from just outside the property into town 4,34,35,44. Balgreen tram stop is a 15 minute walk from the property that goes into town and to the airport. There is also a two night buses, N34 and N44, that stop outside the property. Slateford train station is a 5 minute walk from the property with trains to Glasgow and further afield. You can also get the Edinburgh tram to Balgreen and we are a 15 minute walk to the B&B.

Parking

 

There is free on street parking in the side streets around the property. No reservations required.

Local area

​

A short 10 minute walk from Badjao B&B will take you to the Edinburgh Corn Exchange which holds various events throughout the year. There is an Indian restaurant nearby and Gorgie / Dalry, on the way into town, has lots places to explore, eat and unwind. The area itself is quiet and peaceful and a nice place to relax after a long day.
